The Unseen Nearby

The work consists of seven umbrella-like structures enlarged to an architectural scale, reaching up to approximately six meters in height. Each unit remains folded, transforming a familiar everyday object into a spatial structure that can be entered and experienced. Visitors move among the installation and encounter its forms from shifting distances and perspectives. Through enlargement and the suspension of function, the work places the object between recognition and estrangement, drawing attention to things and relationships that remain present in everyday life yet often go unnoticed through familiarity.
