The work connects 36 chairs, each with its front legs removed, to a galvanized steel pipe framework, reconfiguring them into a circular tower that gradually narrows upward. While the basic form of each chair remains recognizable, its original function as seating is removed and transformed into part of a spatial structure. Drawing on the mechanisms of possession, elimination, and competition embedded in the game of musical chairs, the work turns a familiar everyday object into a structural metaphor for social relations and the struggle for position.
