Reborn with the Waves

Using discarded surfboards as its primary medium, the work transforms objects with clearly defined original functions into a spiraling spatial structure through cutting, splicing, and reassembly. The surfboards’ original forms, colors, and traces of use are partially preserved, while LED strip lights enhance the outline at night. Through the reuse of materials, the work also re-establishes the relationship between the object and its coastal environment.
